Visit a Market – The Algarve is known for it’s many beautiful handicrafts, including baskets and mats made out of palm leaves, woven textiles, pottery and ceramics. On the markets you can also find the best fresh fish, seafood, the season vegetables and fresh fruit.
Take a drive
Take a day off the beach and visit the back land, it’s like stepping into another world. In the hills above Algarve you’ll find a beautiful country site, rivers, old castles, small villages and old fashion cafes with the locals playing cards – There are plenty of hidden gems to explore.

There are many to choose from, so you will be spoilt for choice, including; mountain biking, hiking spots, cliff top walks, jeep safaris, water sports, fishing, boat tours, kayaking, stand up paddle, surfing etc
